Choosing an LGBT wedding photographer in Puerto Vallarta ensures that your photographer understands and respects the unique dynamics of same-sex weddings. At Chas Studios, we specialize in capturing the genuine connection between LGBT couples, ensuring that every moment of your wedding is documented with care.

Our photographic style can be described as soft, organic, and classic, using lots of natural light and minimal editing to maintain the natural beauty of your photographs.

We incorporate elements of both photojournalism and traditional photography. This harmonious approach captures the wedding day as it unfolds naturally while ensuring we take essential portraits of the most important people on your big day.

All photos will be delivered 3-4 weeks after the wedding through an online gallery and includes high-resolution for print and low-resolution for social media.

We take an unlimited amount of photos and deliver the number of photos agreed upon in the package. There is always a minimum of 60 selected and edited photographs per hour of service.

We recommend booking your wedding photographer as soon as you have a date set, ideally 12 months in advance, especially for popular seasons in Puerto Vallarta. This ensures that we can secure your date and begin planning to capture your wedding exactly as you envision it.

Our approach to photographing LGBT weddings is rooted in authenticity and respect. We take the time to get to know you as a couple, so we can capture the moments that truly reflect your love story. Whether it’s candid shots, posed portraits, or a mix of both, we tailor our services to meet your vision.

The number of hours you’ll need depends on the size and complexity of your event. Most weddings require between six and eight hours of coverage, which usually includes getting ready shots, ceremony, and reception. For more extensive celebrations or multiple locations, consider booking additional hours. For smaller, more intimate weddings, you may only need 3 hours of photographic coverage. 

For photography, we use the Canon R6 and R6 Mark II and Alien Bee lighting equipment. Lenses: 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.4, and 100mm macro 1.4. For video, we use the Sony 7 III, DJI Mavic Pro drone, Ronin RSC2 stabilizer, RODE microphones, and ZOOM H6 audio recorder.

We opt for light editing that enhances the natural beauty of the photos. Edits may include removing background objects, sharpening focus, adjusting framing, fine-tuning colors, balancing contrast, and perfecting light and shadow.

Extra charges are always discussed upfront and stated in your contract. Possible extra charges include extra photo edits in Photoshop, videography and drone, and additional hours.

Yes, Chas Studios offers both photography and videography services for LGBT weddings in Puerto Vallarta. We can create a custom package that includes everything from full-day photo coverage to a cinematic wedding film, complete with drone footage, to capture every aspect of your special day.

We hold onto the deposit as a cancellation fee. However, you can use the deposit toward a future photoshoot without an expiration date.
